Yala National Park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka and one of the highest leopard densities in the world. Visitors can spot leopards, elephants, sloth bear, sambar and spotted deer, jackal, mongoose and many more animals. Yala is famous for its bird life also. The best time to visit Yala is between February and July when the water levels of the park are quite low, bringing animals in to open. Enjoy your holiday in Yala and it is well worth all the time.
