Chicken and Rice Stir Fry

Chicken and rice stir fry is a delicious and wholesome dish that combines tender pieces of chicken, vibrant vegetables, and fluffy rice.   • Brown Rice – 300g
  • Salt as per taste
  • Chicken Breast - 500g
  • Olive Oil – 01 tsp
  • Pepper Powder – 01 tsp
  • Big Onion – 01
  • Red Capsicum – ½
  • Green Capsicum – ½
  • Button Mushrooms – 05
  • Medium Tomato – 01
  • Tomato Sauce – ½ cup
  • Oregano – ½ tsp
  • Basil Leaves – 06
  • Garlic Powder – 01 tsp

How to cook:

  • First, we need to cook brown rice with little bit of salt.
  • Until rice is ready, we can cook chicken. For that cut chicken into small pieces and mix salt and pepper powder in it.
  • Then spray some olive oil on a pan and cook chicken in it.
  • When chicken is well cooked get it out of the pan.
  • Now put sliced onions into the same pan and sauté around 2-3 mins.
  • After that add chopped capsicum and sliced mushrooms. If you can add some yellow capsicums to make your rice more colorful.
  • Now we need to close the lid and cook this again around 2-3 mins.
  • Thereafter, add chopped tomato and tomato sauce.
  • Then you can add salt, pepper powder and garlic powder as per your taste.
  • Now its time to add oregano, cooked chicken, and some basil leaves.
  • Finally combine cooked rice with the vegetable mixture.
