Amazing Bread Pudding Recipe

Do you have any recipes that your family absolutely love? Here is mine… This best bread pudding is super easy to make.

Ingredients:Bread Pudding

  • One day old Bread – 300g
  • Salted Butter – 42g
  • Sugar – 100g
  • Fresh Milk – 475ml
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp
  • Large Eggs – 03
  • Raisins – 100g
  • Ingredients:White Sauce

  • Fresh Milk – 400ml
  • Unsalted Butter – 02 tbsp
  • All-purpose Flour – 02 tbsp
  • Sugar – 100g
  • Vanilla / Brady / Rum – 02 tsp
  • How to cook:

  • Put butter, sugar and milk into a pan and heat. It doesn’t need to boil this. Just bring this to bubble from the edges and then get it out of the stove. Keep it aside to cool down.
  • Then cut bread into pieces. Normally we get a one-day old bread for this pudding. If your bread is rich, just toast them in the oven for few minutes.
  • When the milk mixture cools down, add eggs into this and whisk continuously. Make sure the eggs are not curdled.
  • Then add vanilla.
  • Grease the baking tray with butter.
  • Put some bread pieces into the baking tray and pour ½ of the milk mixture over it.
  • Then add some raisins.
  • Again, put rest of the bread pieces, rest of the raisins and pour rest of the milk mixture over bread.
  • It needs to soak all the bread pieces in milk. Make sure there are not any dry pieces.
  • Bake this pudding around 40-50mins under 175C in a pre-heated oven.
  • After 30 mins of baking cover the pudding with an aluminum foil and bake the rest. Then it doesn’t get over brown on top.
  • This bread pudding can be eaten as it is, with honey or with white sauce. To make white sauce first melt butter in a pan.
  • Then add flour into this and whisk around 01 min.
  • After little bit of browning gradually add milk and whisk.
  • Now add sugar and vanilla.
  • When sauce becomes thick consistency turn off the flame and let it cool down a bit.
  • Pour white sauce all over the pudding.
  • Enjoy…
