  • Hot Chocolate – 240ml

Ingredients:Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting

  • Unsalted Butter – 360g
  • Cocoa Powder – 65g
  • Salt – ¾ tsp
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp
  • Powdered Sugar – 870g
  • Sour Cream – 03 tbsp

How to cook:

  • In a bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  • In another separate bowl, mix cocoa powder and oil.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy.
  • When the batter is creamy enough, add prepared chocolate mixture, brown and granulated sugar.
  • Then add eggs and vanilla.
  • When eggs are well combined, add half of the dry ingredients, half of the milk and half of the sour cream.
  • After mixing well, add rest of the dry ingredients, rest of the milk and rest of the sour cream. Gradually adding these ingredients helps you a lot to give it a good mix.
  • After that, add coffee with the batter and mix.
  • When the cake batter is nice and smooth, pour it to two 8-inch round baking trays and bake the cake around 40 mins under 180C in a pre-heated oven.
  • To make the butter cream frosting, beat butter around 5mins until light and cloudy.
  • Then add vanilla, salt, and cocoa powder.
  • After that add cream.
  • Then you can gradually add icing sugar and beat until frosting reaches your desired consistency.
  • Once the cake is completely cool down, frost the top of one cake layer, place the second layer on top and frost the top and sides of the cake.
  • You can decorate the cake as desired and enjoy your homemade devil’s food cake.
